Clouds roll by on gently kissed
breezes
While sun rays dance between them
Grass in need of mowing tickles my
feet
As children giggle and run through
sprinklers
Bees buzz lazily among the flowers
While butterflies flutter here and
there
The smell of barbeque in the air
My cat rubs up against my leg,
looking for a treat
I bend to pet him as he purrs away
I sip my icy margarita and open my
book
And sigh happily as the sun warms my
skin.
